About Me

I am a director who specializes in creating story-driven concepts for commercials and narrative films as well as abstract projects including music and dance videos.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, I used my skills to transition staged productions to the screen for companies that were unable to showcase their shows to live audiences. The Nutcracker and a dance adaptation of The Wizard of Oz were two of these features. For the latter, I had an idea to take the dancers outside to shoot the opening sequences on-location at a New England farm and transition onto the stage when Dorothy enters Oz. The idea created a unique look for the piece and offered the audience something they wouldn’t be able to see in a conventional dance performance. It was met with great success and led me to a third ambitious feature-length dance project shot in the deserts of Palm Springs, The Anniversary.

My last project, The Clown Affair, which I directed and co-wrote, premiered at Angelika Film Center on June 23, 2022. It has since played at several international film festivals and won many of them including awards for Best Cinematography (Amsterdam Freedom Independent IFF), Best Director (Buddha International Film Festival), and Best Short Film (Madonie Film Festival, Roma Short Film Festival, Golden Horse International Film Festival). The future excites me and I am looking forward to continuing to provide a creative edge for people looking to tell compelling and visually engaging narratives.
